The application of thermoplastic adhesive is performed by a traditional injector that applies polyester-type thermoplastic glue to the insole.
The Nova 4 TC can be used for the production of men’s, women’s, and children’s footwear, as well as safety shoes and Goodyear constructions. Upon request, a version equipped with extra devices for IDEAL construction is also available.
The machine features 9 independent pincers, both in up/down movement and opening. This allows for optimal control of the upper’s position on the last and a reduction in the time required for the upper centering phase. The pincers are mounted on mobile plates, which can be adjusted by the operator via switches for rapid positioning when changing the last.
The Nova 4 TC is also equipped with a special system that allows the central pincer to be replaced (depending on the type of last) and for the simultaneous widening or narrowing of the right and left pincer groups with the simple turn of a knob. This ensures there is no gap between the replaced toe pincer and the pincers to its right and left in just a few seconds.
The machine features 5 Teflon pressure points. That allow for accurate pressure distribution along the entire perimeter of the toe. Furthermore, the creation of special geometric “notches” within the Teflon, combined with a unique central attachment, allows the Teflon itself to better adapt to various sizes and even to similar yet different last shapes. The pressure is adjustable, and it is possible to set two different pressures (one for the toe and one for the forepart/ball area).
Upon request, the Nova 4 TC is equipped with an air/oil heat exchanger for cooling the hydraulic circuit oil. This specific system maintains a constant oil temperature throughout the day, ensuring that all machine movements are performed at a consistent speed all day long.
Additionally, the cooling system increases the lifespan of the machine’s hydraulic components by maintaining the optimal oil temperature recommended by hydraulic component manufacturers (seals, hoses, valves, etc.). By keeping the oil at the ideal temperature, oil viscosity is preserved over time, reducing potential oil leaks from the seals.
Finally, the cooling system allows for continuous use of the machine (up to 3 shifts per day), even in countries with tropical climates.
